racin' mods

I bought my '85 535i at auction, so I have no idea who the PO was. I
am convinced though, that he was a racer at heart (please note lack
of demeaning terms...it hot enough here already thanks!). So far I have
discovered the "cut O2 sensor trick", and the "slotted rear shock mounts

trick". Are there any more common mods guys use to go faster that I
might want to look out for in order to make the car more streetable?
