Peter Biernacki - Andrew / Nikos / Thao



This e-mail is in response to the two messages that appeared on the BMW
Digest #400.  I have not had time to keep up with digest readings and was
informed of the problem by a digester/friend.

I apologize for not sending out the individual's caps to date.  Yes it is
true the checks were cashed, albeit accidentally.  Normally after
receiving an order I send out the caps, wait for a response from the party
to find out if they liked them and THEN cash the check.  However in this
particular occasion I had to go out of town rather abruptly and my
secretary cashed a number of checks that were on my desk. 

Unfortunately, now I am dealing with a family emergency, and
have not been able to mail the caps.  I sent ndrew, Nikos, and Thao 
e-mails apologizing for the delay and informed them that if it was a
problem I would happily refund their money.  I received a response
from some but not all individuals who were affected.

Finally, I do not appreciate Andrew & Thao sending a rude e-mail with my
address no less to the entire digest.  Andrew, Nikos, and Thao I will
reimburse your funds via mail as soon a I finish this letter.  If you have
any other comments please respond via private e-mail to
pbiernac@domain.elided .

I have sold a bunch of caps to date and so far everyone has been
completely satisfied.  I'm sorry to say that what was a fun little venture
to sort of say "thanks" to digesters for their great advice over the
years, has turned out to this.
