hello everyone,
well, many people sent responses regarding the engine noises i reported.
they recommended using a stethoscope type instrument to track it down -
which i had done. after some further investigation i feel it is not the h20
pump (or alternator) as it is operating quite smoothly even when i hear this
noise very clearly. ironically, it turns out that there are 2 noises! one
i have determined to be the power steering pump. is this a fairly easy
replacemement? i have checked the fluid level and it seems okay so i guess
it is going. i believe the other noise is the fan as it seems to come and
go when the engine is hot and is not nearly as loud when cold. i am going
to have it looked at by a mechanic to verify my thoughts though. i will let
everyone know how it turns out. thanks for all the help!! much
appreciated.
regarding control arm bushings - do i need one set of 2 per C/A or one set
of 2 per pair of C/A's? thanks!
regards,
