Fuel Injection Mods

Here's an interesting topic.  Has anyone ever modified the fuel 
injection system on their car, i.e. added sequential injection to a 
early motronic system?  Are there any benefits to doing this?  Is it 
even feasible?

Any comments or sources of info are appreciated.
