I'll second that. It was one of Car & Driver's favorites for several
years. They're cheap to buy, feed, and insure. The engine is excellent -
torquey for a multi-valver, virtually bulletproof, and the rev limiter
doesn't cut in 'til about 7700. <g> Handling is above average for a
front driver, and a viscous limited slip is standard. Good seats, too.
As a bonus, the econobox styling draws little attention from the boys in
blue. I recommend the dark grey - good camouflage for the daily commuter
assault.
