Yep with fixed speed traps all along the main highways, speedtraps on
secondary
roads, speedtraps in town, speedtraps on almost every
main intersection (redlight +speed!), mobile speedtraps popping up
faster than
you can blink your eyes,radar-cars with cameras following you and on
top of that
police-cars ans bikes patrolling the highways.

Tickets are sent automaticly to the 'owner' of the car, pay up or
go to court(hardly ever done overhere).
I got 4 tickets up until now,
1 in Hungary (doing 90km/h in a 60km/h zone (hey why are all
the cars here 'foreign'?) Cost? US$4.50 (I rode away laughing!)
3 in the Netherlands
1 for doing 53 km/h in a 50km/h zone (25 US$)
1 for doing 123km/h in a 120km/h zone (25 US$)
1 for doing 124km/h in a 120km/h zone (25 US$)
Tickets don't do anything to your insurance here, that is only
affected by causing accidents.
Since the first of October the law has changed here, if you are driving
over 50km/h above the speedlimit you will automatically loose
your driverlicence.

Bradley I donot know where you come from, but obviously not the
Netherlands,
here cops ARE revenue agents. (speeding., parking, other things).
I sometimes speed, just because I like to drive 'fast', but I will NOT
speed in dangerous places or when it is busy.
