Bentley/Haynes Preference

Does anyone have a preference for the Bentley or Haynes manual, or some
other 
manual, for a 1990 E30 325i?  I believe the Bentley is somewhat more 
expensive.  Is it worth it?  In particular, I am looking to replace my
shocks. 
 The rears seem pretty straightforward but I need help on the fronts.  Will 
either of these manuals be any help?
