M3 Snow Tires in NJ

This post is really mostly for M3 drivers in the NJ area.  I'm looking for
opinions from NJ E36 M3 drivers on how useful they feel buying a snow tire
package would be.  Do you think we generally get enough snow in NJ to
justify the approx. $1000 cost for new snows and wheels?

I know, if it doesn't snow you don't need them.  But based on the weather
over the last say 5 years what do we think about the benefits.  Any one
regret spending the money?

Maybe I should wait until it snows...
