Your friend may want to consider adding a "Racor" filter/separator unit after
the injector pump fix. This will protect the injectors and pump form extra
strain caused by occasional bad batches of fuel (e.g., water or dirt
contamination). I always use these units on my diesels and have an extra one
I removed from a diesel I parted out. If your friend is interested, I will
make him a good deal on it...Chas
