E30 Air Flow Meter

Hey folks,

I need to open up my 85 325e's air flow meter to check the
internal resistor/dirt buildup, but I can't seem to find any references
in the Bentley or Haynes for doing such.

I've seen posts before describing this operation, so if someone
remembers, or has done this, could you please describe the
steps/tips/etc.
