325is vs. 325ix : looking for some input

I may be selling my mint 1990 325is (67k miles) to acquire a mint 1991 325ix
sedan (51k miles). I'd like to get some input from fellow digest members who
own 325ix's.

My 325is is a garage queen and only gets about 4000 miles a year, mostly driver
schools and sunny days. I have a 1985 325e daily driver with 214k miles on the
clock. The idea would be to sell off the two cars and get the ix. I know I'd
be happy with the ix as a daily driver, but what about for driver schools ?
I've put a lot of time and energy into the 325is and finally have it set up real
nice.

I know the front suspension set up on the ix is very different from the "is".
Can the E30 M3 offset control arm bushings and upper strut bearing be used on
the ix ? If not, are there camber plates available for the ix ?

Anyway, any input from ix owners who track their cars would be appreciated.
