SA Helmets & Multiple Impacts

What is meant by multiple impacts is that the helmet may be subjected to
multiple impacts at ONE TIME or during the SAME INCIDENT. It does NOT
mean that you can bang up the helmet several times before it becomes
unsafe.
In other words, an SA helmet is designed to save your melon when you
roll the car and your helmet bounces off the roll cage upteen thousand
times as the car tosses and pitches. An M helmet is designed to protect
your melon when your helmet slams into the pavement - hopefully you'll
only hit the pavement once.
In any case, after every incident that bounces your bucket, BUY A NEW
HELMET. There's no economy when you're talking safety.
What Bubba Duane wrote is accurate albeit somewhat vague or open ended
for the legal minded types.
