<E30> '90 325iX Supercharger?

I have a '90 iX with 98k.  A friend mentioned he was putting a
supercharger
on his non-bmw, and I wondered what effects such a device would have
on my iX.  So I look to the net for some basic information.  Any help
in find information would be very helpful. Web sites, faqs, etc...
Basic questions like, is one available for this car? what does it do to
gas mileage, horse power, torque curves, drive train wear, etc..
