bmw@domain.elided and bmw-digest@domain.elided are effectively one and the same;
bmw-digest is an alias that maps to bmw

bmw and bmw-digest are mechanically two parallel mailing lists, the former
for readers who want individual messages and the latter for those who
prefer the digest. they are trunked together by a couple of majordomo
utilities.

the old wizvax addresses are set up to forward to the digest.net addresses.
if you are seeing "administrative prohibition" messages, use the wizvax
addresses to work around.

other issues that may affect posting include email address discrepancies
between what is on the list and what appears in your From: line (this is a
side effect of spam control), or the fact that you read via the archives
rather than via email.
