Actually, many border states also use CARB gas as some of the major 
refineries are in CA (for the pacific area).  So, instead of making two 
types of gas, some parts of Arizona, Oregon, and Nevada have CARB 
gas..but they don't tell you that...Same holds true for CARB 
diesel..Truckers frequently fill up at the border to avoid getting CARB 
diesel, to which they claim effect milage, but get it unknowingly..then 
report they get better milage with the out of state diesel...funny how 
the brain works when it thinks something true that is not!
