Basic E30 325's and 88 Super ETA

Basic E30 325's produced from 86-87 are indeed ETA cars in every aspect. They
were the base models, usually with cloth interior, no OBC, no 6 speaker sound
system...etc..etc. However the 88 325 was the only one equipped with the
"Super ETA" engine and Motronic 1.1. You can tell it's a Super ETA by:

The non-angled twin exhaust pipes of smaller diameter than the "i" rear
system.
The "choked" intake manifold and throttle housing.
The 6K RPM tach (5K E tach, 7K i tach, 8K M3 tach)
The distinct 88 year model features...Ellipsoids, short-shocked metallic
bumpers, large rear taillights, Chrome/black window molding, black door/body
molding and longer rear quarters.
