OK, I go to my local dealer this morning at 8am, I am the first cat
there...I am to have the plastic "shield" that the wiper motors are
under replaced as the rubber that selas onto the bottom of the
windshield is deteriorated beyond belief...under warrantee, although I
now have 51,xxx miles...SO>>> Some 400 pound dude jumps in my ride and
rips back behind the fence and parks it...they are looking for my
part...guess what.."we don't have it"...Sh!t...OK, I will come back next
week then... SO>>>> the 400 pound dude jumps back in my ride and rips up
to me and gets out, handing me the keys.. I get in an take-off..after
telling a 98 M3 owner he is screwed because he can't do the euro HFM
upgrade (hehe)..As soon as I get onto the road, I noticed the airbag
warning light is on...WHAT THE !!!!!! I pull in and querry the dealer
why this would come on...I saw the guy drive the car 200 feet, park it,
sat for 30 minutes, then drove it 200 feet again.."Dunno, blah blah
blah".. Halfway back to work (5 miles from the dealer) it goes out...
Curious.....Ideas?? Why would this come on, then go off? Is there a
seat sensor that measures if someone is in the seat? Maybe because I
was buckled in (always) and being in it right after a 400 pound dude
smashed the hell out of the sensor, it didn't make contact?? Hell, I
dunno.. The only thing different that happened to the car was the 400
pound dude! OK, well maybe 390..Ideas? Tim
