E31/E30 steering leaks

Someone (can't remember who) asked if the E21 steering racks had as many
problems with leaks as those on the E30's. Since the E30 leaks are the
hydraulic fluid (from the power assist), and the E21 steering was not
power, my guess would be that the E21 never had the same type of
problem.

More quesions: Do the E36 racks have a history of steering leaks? And
how will the E46's do?
