There sure is!  Ron Katona, one of the local National chapter members showed
me how to do it.  Amazingly simple.  Just grab the mirror / arm and rotate it
counter-clockwise.  It will come right off then.

After you take the mirror & arm off, you'll see that there is a base plate on
the windshield with some teeth on it.  The mirror has corresponding grooves
cut into it.

Great for when you have to clean the windows and such.
