Ray sticks foot in his tired mouth and says: "Of course, today's autos
nominally run at 13.8V, not 12V, so this seems a tad bit odd." The only
thing a tad bit odd here is my math! I should have said that 42V was picked
because it is a multiple of *14V* (13.8V rounded up)
