<E30> idle speed

Today, the warmed-up idle speed on my '87 325 (eta) decided to be about
900 (steady, not fluctuating) instead of the usual 700. I checked the
FAQs which indicated that the coolant temperature switch could cause
this, but the switch seems to be OK per Bentley (open at low temps,
closed at high temps). Could this also be caused by either the ICV or
the ICU? BTW, they were both replaced 5 or 6 ago.
