Battery Mounting Plate

	Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I own a 1984 318 =
i and would like to replace the mounting plate in it, I have purchased =
it and it seems that some welding is needed. Could someone pls. let me =
know if they have gone thru this process.
