<E30> 3rd brake light question

Hi all,

I have an '84 325e and I wish to install a 3rd brake light that the 
later E30s have.  Have anyone done this upgrade and would like to share 
it?

I really want this since most of the new cars have the 3rd light and 
most of the drivers behind you are used to seeing them 'on' when you're 
breaking.  Especially for some drivers who might not be aware you're 
breaking to slow down without the 3rd light.

I'd appreciate every suggestion.
