Michelin TRX tires

A lot has been submitted abou the difficulty of finding TRX tires,
especially in the US.  One of the car magazines I read, La Vie de l'Auto,=

which is a bit of the French Hemming's, gives a brief story of the TRX. =

While there were/are some technical advantages of the TRX system over
"normal" rims, it obviously didn't set the automotive world on fire.  It
was at least better than the Sony Betamax's commerical success.

In any case Michelin DOES suppy TRX tires via their "Vintage Vehicles"
division.  Their phone number at Michelin's corporate headquarters in
