Hey...
Heres a interior styling/detailing tip for everyone... If you let the rear buckles hang
down to the stops on the rear seat belts, they create wear marks in the leather. This is
especially noticable on white leather. To remedy this problem, slide the buckles all the way
up & back on the belt (as far as you can go), and let them rest on the edge of the rear deck
(the buckle part should be sticking almost straight up towards the sky). They will sit there
perfectly and not mess up the leather!
Now for some questions:
1. I can't stand my armrest in my 98 M3... It's in the way when its down, and if its up and I
hit the brakes hard enough it flys down and nails me in the arm. Do all E36's come with
armrests? I'm thinking about taking the armest out, but was wondering if theres a replacement
trim piece to go in its place?
2. The other thing thats annoying are the rear headrests, I know some of the earlier M3's did
not have rear headrests. I can't seem to figure out how to take them out (or even if its
possible). Anyone know how to remove them?
3. When I start the car in the morning and I'm backing out of the garage if I give a little
throttle the rev's actually go down. The car almost stalls, but seems to "catch" itself. Its
only stalled once, but this condition occurs very often (more than 50% of the time). Is this
normal or what?
