Advice on 525i Touring

As a fellow digester will be buying my much loved E28 this weekend, I need
to replace it with something roomier for the wife's stuff.  Not that stuff,
I mean her art stuff.  Sheesh!

I cleverly diverted her from a headlong rush into an SUV and have found a
1992 525i Touring with about 32,000 miles on it that is now in the running.
 I'd appreciate any advice concerning this particular model from those who
have them or know them.
