In full rant mode:

If you guys are gonna keep throwing that "Nut" line around, you should at
least get it right!!!!

It SHOULD be:

"The best way to improve the performance of your car is to improve the
nut HOLDING the wheel."

NOT "the nut behind the wheel".

"Holding" is the way I originally heard it about 14 years ago, and it made
sense.  "Holding" more clearly defines the part in question as the driver
of the car.  The first thing I think when I see "nut behind the wheel" is,
"Huh?  What part is that?".

OK, sorry, rant mode off now.  I'll go back under my rock...
