REPLY?, ANYONE, ANYONE!, ANYONE!! <E 30> Windshield Replacement to DIY or Not?

I am considering replacing my Windshield on my 1986 325 ESA.  Is there anyone
out there in Bimmer Land who has done this successfully?  What steps are
involved & what special tools are required?  Are these the same for replacing
the rear window trim?
