e34 springs & difficult vendors

oooohhhhhhhhhh.....don't do that.  Now, I dunno if your springs were
made by either Racing Dynamics SpA or Racing Dynamics Electrodyne, but
I had (keyword had) a set that....get this....

the paint (yes, not powerdercoat) flaked off in one year, causing the
springs to rust horrificlly.  The car was never driven on salty roads,
and was seldom driven in the rain.  

And the retailer's response (ohhhhh, I've vowed never EVER to buy from
this retailer again.  EVER.) was "every spring rusts."

Really?  Then how come my beater lives-outside-on-the-street-of-Chicago
Toyota Tercel doesn't have rusty springs?

PS:

To the indivdual who has been having difficulty getting their refund
from Eurasian:  I had the exact same problem with Eurasian.  
I contacted my CC company (Citibank) and Citibank credited my card back 
and handled the rest.  Worked for me.
