E34 Wiper Arm

BMW supposedly has fixed the problem (I've got it on my 89 535i) with the
right wiper arm hitting the hood.  Fix is in the design of the new arm. I
bought the new arm but haven't had a chance to install it yet.  Hope it
works...another person with the problem simply grabs the hood in the center
at the cowl and pulls it out as hard as he can...probably gives him an
extra 1-2mm of room, at least temporarily.  SD
