[E36] 245/40ZR17

Hi guyz,
           Can we fit in 245/40ZR17 tires at the rears on our E36
Coupe/Cabrio ???  I believe offsets on rims may vary.  However, I am using
the OEM M3 Double Spoke Forged rims 8.5" rear.  Have seen M3s mount the 245s
but not sure about my non-M3 E-36.  Thanks in advance.  Also, am deciding
between the Bridgestones S-02s and the SP9000s....never tried the S02s but
have heard great things yet I like the SP9000s very much.  Would appreciate
any views.  Thanks once again.
