window buttons

Does anybody know the logistics involved in switching power window buttons.
I have a '90 325is and the window buttons are rather difficult to operate (I
already tried cleaning them, it's just that style of switch), but the newer
style buttons don't require the same amount of force and they look better as
well.
Will the newer buttons work in my car? Will they fit in the stock holes?
Anyone know how much they cost?
