<E28> Motronic, ICV, OBC, FPR, etc. for sale...

Hi everyone,

I have a few things from a 1986 E28 535i that I picked up at the local 
wrecker from a previously very nice specimen of these cars. I got 
pretty well most of the interesting/good parts of the car and made use 
of much of it. What I have left is not suitable for my 533i. Maybe someone 
can get some use of these goodies:

1. Motronic Computer. (Bosch part # 0 261 200 059) marked "Rebuilt, Tested 
OK October 97", sealed up quite professionally and signed by the 
technician. Verdict: Overall excellent condition.

2. Idle Control Valve. (Bosch part # 0 280 140 509) looks like it's in very 
good condition. Casting marked manufactured in 1984. No corrosion on 
terminals. Verdict: Overall very good condition. 

3. Onboard Computer. (style II I believe? - the one with the 1000, 100, 
10, 1 buttons across the bottom) Marked as follows:

  BMW VDO IC III E
  65.81-1373 706.9
  510.201/001/005

  3.85/004 (which seems to mean manufactured in March, 1985)

Looks very good - not scratched up, ratched up, etc. As for the working 
order of it - I don't know since I don't have a car that will activate it 
to try it out. I guess it is likely in good working order since everything 
else about this car looked very good - actually a much better than average 
specimen of E28.

Whoever gets this OBC also gets as a nifty bonus the semi-triangularly 
shaped trim panel that it bolts into - the one that also includes the holes 
for the rear window defogger and hazard light switches. This added piece of 
BMW glory has the following markings:

1 367 688.0
VDO-81 075 032

If that helps things any. :> Overall verdict: Looks good to me. Great deal!

4. Fuel Pressure Regulator 3.0 bar. (Bosch part # 0 280 160 226) Works fine 
- - I tried it out in my 533i but that system requires the 2.7 bar regulator. 
Dusty but works well. Verdict: not bad - very much cheaper than buying a 
brand new one from the dealer.

So that's all pretty well for the leftover goodies from this car. What 
prices, you ask...
