e36 M3 wheels on e30 M3

Hi everyone:
I would like to know if anyone has tried putting on a set of e36 M3 =
wheels (225/45/17 front and 245/40/17 rear) on to an e30 M3? Is that =
feasible at all or I am just dreaming? Without any offset knowledge of =
the wheels of both cars, any comments are welcomed. Thanks in advance, =
