E34 Door Panel Problem

Has anyone had problems with door panel shrinkage on
E34's??  My 92 525iT has panels that are pulling away from the
door frame.  Mainly at the arm rest area, causing the insert panel
to pull off.  Was this covered under a recall or warranty?? Can someone
advise a fix for the problem??  ANy info is appreciated.
