<LTB> E36 M3 - need advice

everyone,

i am going to be looking at a white 95 m3 soon at auto strasse in ann arbor,
mi (for those from the motor city chapter who might be here) and i was
wondering what some things to look for on this particular model are.  i know
about a couple of  things like the valve retainers and checking the body
panels (thanks rebecca!) but i was wondering if there were other things to
be aware of.  this car was built in 3/95, has about 41k on it, and it is a 5
spd,  if that makes a difference.  it also has a borla exhaust on it.  other
than maybe a k&n and the aftermarket wing i believe it is stock.  any help
would be much appreciated.  also, does anyone have any experience with this
dealer?

another question that i'm sure has been covered many times, the car has some
remaining warranty and they are offering an extended warranty for a small
fee.  will modifying this car void the warranty?  specifically, if i add the
euro intake+conforti chip.  i would assume that modifying the brakes and
suspension would be cause for void.  all info is appreciated.

for those motor city (or nearby) people - has anyone done the driving school
at MIS?  wondering how it was, what kinda turn out there is.  again, thanks.
