<E30> OBC Sudden Death!!

Hi,
I've got an '87 325is whose OBC suddenly went dead last night. Everything 
else dash related seems fine. Checked the fuses this afternoon and none 
were blown. Any common issues out there regarding an OBC of that vintage? 
Typical loose/dirty/corroded wiring problems? TIA.
