Rotary...
Mazda is now going to put the exhaust port on the side as well.
Numerous advantages, but this wasn't possible years ago because of poor
controlability of the fuel/air mixture and the side exhaust port would
clog with soot. With fuel injection and someone at Mazda saying "lets
try again, shall we?" it is now going to be done and there is supposed
to be a rear drive sports car coming out for less than $25,000 w/ 220HP,
naturally aspirated and you know what a twin turbo would do for that.
