If you plan on doing BMW wheel bearing replacements, you'd better have a
good 30mm (most rear wheel bearing hubs), 36mm (E30 front) or 46mm (M3 E30,
E28/E24/E32/E34/E36) 6-pt socket. The 46mm socket will be 3/4" drive and
the 30 & 36mm are available in 1/2 drive. The nut has a lock flange and
should be replaced with the installation of the new bearings. SD
