Hello Folks!
Last May (I think it was in May) I attended my first track school at Lagu=
na
Seca. I was very apprehensive, as I=92m sure a lot of other people would=
be,
about putting my new car on a race track, where a beautiful, mechanical
marvel can be turned into an organ donor in a blink of an eye. After a f=
ew
very nervous laps the fear of a wreck gradually got displaced by confiden=
ce
and euphoric bliss. The weekend flew by without leaving a mark on my car=
,
but left me enlightened, elated and forever changed.
Now that my next school at Sears Point draws near, those same concerns ar=
e
creeping back. Also, some race tracks are more forgiving than others and=
I
hear that Sears Point is one of the =93others=94. So now I gotta ask=85I=
s there
such a thing as insurance coverage for a track use of a car, if so, with
which company? Will a =93regular=94 insurance company pay for any damage=
that
occurred on a track? Is there any special insurance (that doesn=92t cost=
as
much as a new car :-))? I=92m interested in hearing what you may know or
experienced with regard to this.
Thanks.
