This is not directly BMW related, but I thought it would be of some
interest to digest members. It's a company that is providing a new type
of "limited slip" diff.

"GERODISC is an automatic hydro mechanical traction control device. It
is a self-activating device that can prevent wheel spin and improve
traction and handling on all four types of vehicle platforms:
front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, four-wheel drive and all-wheel
drive."
