Importing Euro Cars?

Hi,

I was wondering if any of you had experience with bringing a car from
Europe back to the states.  Is it a difficult process.  The reason why I
ask is b/c M5s in Europe seemed to be priced very good and they have a
3.8L motor after 93'  Isn't the 91' M5 in the US and EURO essentially the
same 3.6L engine (unlike the new E36s where we have a different engine
altogether?)
