what's going on with BMW stock?

Does anybody know why BMW's stock is getting hammered on the
Frankfurt stock exchange?

This is not just 'regular' market swings. It was not that long ago
that it was trading at around 2000DM. Today alone it is down -6.8%. The
current stock price is 1460.00DM.
What's happening that we don't know about?
