Rodd, the Y2K issue does NOT affect DME's since they don't have an internal
clock that measures time relative to a specific date...
Whoever is passing this info to you in the light of chips (Gee: let me
guess.. Oh "MY CHIPS ARE Y2K compliant?!?") needs some educating!
