Hmm, you might want to test out the new Z3 coupe if you're not over 6'
tall.  They're not out yet but should be soon if you're not in a huge
hurry.  I suspect for autocross and roadrace this'll be "da bomb".

If you're not planning on leaving the car stock the '95s are good to
have because they're the most modifiable.  They also were the ones with
the most problems on overrev but I'm not the expert there.

My neighbor just had a small series of bad experiences with BMW Fairfax
when she took her 325 in for some work and then tried to buy a Z3 from
them.  On the other hand, she's always had great service from Heishmann
BMW and an excellent experience dealing with a saleswoman named Nancy. 
I don't know how they'll be on technical questions though.  You can also
try Auto Advantage in Mannassas for that in spite of some a__hole
flaming them the other day.
