re: Balanceing

Thanks so much for the advise Duane. Jim and Blaine gave me names of a
few shops and we called the LA area rep but he was unavaible at the time
and my brother was right about ready to drive up to SF some 300 miles away
and did not want the car shaking itself apart so we took it down the
street from where he lives to Stokes Tires on Santa Monica Blvd. Blaine,
that was a great call!

They rebalanced the tires and they also founf the problem was that the
wheel shop did not use and hubcentric spacers. This was supposed to cause
the problem as well. Anyhow $44 later (cheap!) the car rides like it is
on glass! Perfect and these are 18 inche wheels on an H&R coilover setup.

Can anyone explain what hubcentric spacers are and their purpose? IS
metal ones better than plastic?

As always thanks for the great adise out there on the digest!
