<E30> eta engine in 318i?

Looking for suggestions or experience in putting an '88 325e 4 door 5
speed drive train in a '84 318i 2 door.  

At this point, I know I have to use the engine and trans from the 325e. 
Also the wiring harness to the motronic box has to be installed (all the
wiring under the hood, essentially).

Anyone know if the engine mounts or subframe need to be changed?

Drive shaft shortened?

Is the motronic harness "plug and play" so to speak?

Anything critical I may be forgeting?
