You're perfectly right in your comment about SportsCar and GT series.
But the ITC did not die because the MBs where that dominant. In fact the
Opel Calibras dominated the second (the FIRST REAL ITC) year. Manuel
Reuter won the championship in a Calibra!
Because of this, it was a pity for me to see Opel/GM let the series die
because of bad international spectator/tv figures!
