I just found out...  It will work with:

'96MY+ (E36 328i/is  Nov'95 production)
'96MY+ (E36 318i/is  Jan '96 production)
'96MY+ (E36 M3       Sep '95 production)
'97MY+ (E39+           beginning of production)

I'm selling my BMW trunk mounted CD changer. It will work with '96 & up
318/323/328/M3.  Part number 82 11 1 469 404.  I paid close to $600 last
year.  Used for about a year.  Perfect condition.  Will throw in an extra
magazine.  I have all the original packing and materials.
Asking $400 plus shipping.
