Hello everyone. I've got a quick question and need a bit of advice. I =
just replaced the receiver/dryer with a new one purchased from BMP ($45 =
- - Hendrick wanted $135). A local shop drew a vacuum on the system, told =
me it held for 15 minutes without a problem, and then recharged the =
system with R12. The car is cooling well (I've been without AC all =
summer), but I'm seeing air bubbles in the sight window, there's an oily =
film all over the new receiver/dryer, and the spot directly opposite the =
upper hose in the R/D (pressure relief pin??) is blowing little bubbles. =
I think I've described a problem that's gonna lead to a warmer =
existance. Any ideas offered will be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Scott Buchanan
